GROUNDED'S STORY

Grounded is a first and third-person cooperative survival game by Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios. It was first revealed at X019 in London and entered early access on July 28th, 2020.

In Grounded, Max, Willow, Pete, and Hoop are shrunk by Ominent's shrink ray to the size of an ant.  The player must survive in the micro-world of a suburban backyard alone or with up to 3 additional players.  In the dangerous landscape, players work to progress through story-based quests or explore the farthest reaches of the backyard and its unique biomes.  Players must gather resources, craft, and build bases with everyday objects while searching for lifesaving resources and collectibles such as dew off grass.  Players can also craft different types of armors to defend against a host of  creatures, which includes diverse insects, arachnids, and others, both hostile and friendly.
